What does god say about salvation?
Throughout the Bible, God shares many scriptures with us about our salvation. Here are some of the scriptures that help explain what it means to accept Christ into your heart and life.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believers in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". John 3:16
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Romans 3:24
God has given us provision through his Son
"I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comets unto the Father, but by me". John 14:6
We have a choice to receive Jesus Christ and to follow him in believer's baptism
"Repent yes therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord". Acts 3:19
"For by grace are yet saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God". Ephesians 2:8
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt. believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believers unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation". Romans 10:9-10
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20
If you are trusting in Jesus today, you can express your newfound faith in Christ by simply repeating these words in your heart to God...
